Inspired by LBTY
Bold, handwoven designs thread together stories rich in symbolism and spirituality. For her tapestry ‘Shaped by the Star’, inspired by Liberty’s LBTY fragrance Zephirine, Bellamy channels the scent’s notes and the Eden Awakening print that adorns the bottle. These rich and colourful elements intertwine with Tarot-inspired motifs, inviting each viewer to interpret its meaning in their own way.
My inspiration for this collaboration was drawn from imagery evoked by the British summer.
I always strive for my pieces to hold meaning in the collage of imagery I create, as well as eliciting an uplifting response in the observer. For this collection, I wanted my designs to represent an abundance of luck and symbolise life through icons of summer.
Shooting stars in clear skies and delicious fruit on lush trees. Pomegranates for abundance and good luck, the sun is the light of life. Each image was hand drawn and collated to evoke happiness through forms and inspire positivity.
